Review content:
Good: Wonderful, unique, upscale, fun gifts, toys-
Great selection of kitchen, dining items
Anticipation of my grandchildren's delight in all the cool toys. Bad: Lurking, scolding, rude sales staff stalking every move even though we had 4 adults supervising 3 well behaved children.
Tacky warning signs posted everywhere.
"Do not touch, do not pick up" attitude for children's items unless you are purchasing.
Constant reprimands to customers by staff
No friendliness, just being followed as if being spied upon.
Crushing the spirit of fun that is the potential of this store.. Improvements: Child-friendly staff in a store with such wonderful things for children.
Welcoming atmosphere
Courteous treatment of potential customers who acknowledge that they are in a nice store. (Class begets class.)
Understanding that most people are respectful and honest & deserve to be treated likewise.
Allow customers to shop, examine some items, show children how toys work, as long as supervised.
Allow adults to do the above without being reprimanded.
Encourage the fun factor potential.. Other: Can't imagine having a store with the potential for so much fun for children to experience, and then being so rude to the very people who would love to buy & share those things with their little ones. Before entering, I had told my granddaughter that her first gift from me came from this store 12 years ago & had told grandson that he would love this fun store. However, that joy was crushed by our treatment. We finally walked out without making any intended purchases-very disappointed children & adults..
