Review content:
This was my first visit to Sugarbaby's after sitting across the street at the Hunan Chinese restaurant and saw people coming in and out of the store. I went there today and they were giving away free red velvet cupcakes to kick off the cupcake show on the food network. As I walked in, there was a table laid out with 2 people standing behind it. Neither of them greeted me. As I picked up the brochures I asked the girl was this store going to compete and she just looked at me and shook her head. After the awkward silence, she finally asked if I wanted to try their red velvet cupcake, I said sure why not. (They had a whole display of them so you would think they would have offered one as soon as I walked in). The girl didn't even ask if I was getting it to go, she just put it on a plate and handed it to me. No one was smiling or greeting people during my visit...so maybe I caught them on a bad day or something. With that being said, I would rather drive ALLLL the way to the Galleria to CRAVE and spend the extra on gas and a bigger & better tasting cupcake than to be ignored in an place of business! It's bad enough the parking sucks, but to get inside and the customer service sucks too? What are the odds....
pssst: I think the people on here that are raving about their good "customer service" must work there.
