While the store contains great products and has a friendly staff, the pharmacy is HORRIBLE! In the two years I used the pharmacy for only two or three prescriptions, they lost faxed prescriptions numerous times, were incredibly rude and slow to fill even when I had called ahead. I switched and have been much happier.
Last week I reluctantly had to use Pharmaca again for my cat's compounded prescription. The vet called it in before I knew who they would use. Although my cat was seriously ill and needed her medicine immediately they waited over 24 hours to make it. Then, when I went to pick it up, they were hostile and rude when I inquired when the doctor had called it in (I had assumed at first it was a mix up on that end) and why they hadn't contacted me when it was ready. It was clear that they only started making the compound when I called earlier that day to ask when it would be ready, but the woman gave me a lecture on how difficult it is to make compounded medicine. BS! I have worked in a compounding pharmacy and it only takes a few minutes. I just took my medicine and left but will never go back.
If you can, I recommend that you use someone else.
