This is such a great place to go if you just want to grab a little bite and go. This is the second time that i've had the pleasure of coming to Ap-Petite. About 3 months ago, I was in town visiting family and decided to dropped in to pick up a few pastries for my mothers birthday. The service that the young blonde women behind the counter gave us was completely and utterly horrible. Just this past weekend I was in town again and happen to drive by. I was very surprised to see that they were open because it was a Sunday. I pulled into the Ralphs parking lot and walked inside to be greeted with a smiling new face. Before I even reached the counter I was surprised with a warm greeting from an wonderful African American women by the name of Mo'nique. She told me that she was the NEW manager and "boy" was I relieved. I will never forget her because that happens to be my mother's name. I was undecided about what pastries I wanted until, she offered me 2 different samples [ Nutella & Walnut] I was sold. I ended up leaving the bakery with 1lb of pastries and 6 sandwiches...
I just want to say thanks to Mo'nique and hopefully, the next time i'm in town i'll be greeted with that same beautiful smile and witty sence of humor. You are a treasure to this place and I hope it doesn't go un-noticed?
