Review content:
Akron Zoo has grown tremendously over the years, and it is one of my favorite zoos in all of Ohio. They have they usual exhibits that most zoos have, but the way the exhibits are arranged makes this a great zoo to explore with young kids. It isn't so large that kids will get tired, and it usually isn't that crowded, either--so kids can have an easy time viewing the animals.
Akron Zoo often has special exhibits, like insects or reptiles, for example, that add to the interest of the zoo. There is also a large picnic area in the zoo, so you can bring along a lunch and enjoy it in between checking out all of the animals. My kids never tire of this zoo--there is always something new to see. Plus, Akron Zoo's admission is a lot cheaper than that of other Ohio zoos, so it is easy to visit several times a year and not break the budget.
