I first experienced 1 On 1 Self Indulgence on my 30th birthday. Instead of wallowing in self-pity at my advancing age, a friend suggested that I take the day and go to the spa. I took her advice, searched online and booked myself in for 1/2 a day of pampering. I was definitely not disappointed! I started my day with 1/2 an hour in the hydrotherapy tub, followed by a 1 hour massage, then an hour long oxygen facial, 45 minutes in the European dry float, a manicure and finally a pedicure. Somewhere in there they brought me lunch too! Let me tell you, I want to turn 30 every day now!
The staff is excellent and the treatments are super relaxing. I have been to many spas, but this one has the perfect balance of relaxation and warmth.
I recently moved to Maynard, just down the street from the spa. I have booked treatments for my friends for their birthdays and my husband for Valentine's Day and I always tag along!
Now, I can't wait to turn 31! My mouth is already watering for their chocolate scones!
Pros: Great people, beautiful atmosphere, amazing treatments.
Cons: I can't go everyday!
