I've been coming to Blu Salon for years now, and after reading some of the other reviews, I figured I would relay my amazing experiences with this place. I work in Manhattan and live in Jersey and have been to plenty of salons and spas in NYC before finding this little gem on the recommendation of a friend. I've seen quite a few of their stylists and all of them are sweet, friendly but, most importantly, talented!
They recently renovated to include a spa and nail department and I have to say they really hit the mark with these services as well! I've been seeing Jill for my facials for about a year now, and my skin has never looked or felt better! And I almost always combine my facials with one of Albert's mind-blowing massages! All in all an amazing place right on the Hudson River.
Blu's only drawback is their limited nail department. The front desk team is always great at getting me in last minute for my other services, but for nails, you really have to book far out in advance. The only con of an otherwise fabulous escape from the everyday!
Pros: Courteous staff, talented stylists, serene spa
Cons: Hard to get nail appointments
