Review content:
The Akron Zoo has been through a major reconstruction. In the last three years it has expanded to include more animals, more parking and more overall space. When you think of Akron, you don't necessarily think of wild animals, but they've done a great job of bringing in some of the most interesting wildlife (including lions, gators and penguins). The fountain garden is beautiful and peaceful, the perfect place to take a break from walking. Also, there are more air-conditioned spaces so you can get a reprieve from the heat. It's a little gem, right in the middle of Akron. (You can also use your Akron Zoo pass at other zoos across the country! Just ask for details)
