Dr. Jeffries practice is like the "good old days." She has been my PCP since she opened her doors years ago. Sometimes the wait is long, but once you're in with the Dr. (or one of the P.A.'s), she takes as much time as you need -- allowing the opportunity to ask questions -- and giving full, detailed answers. (which could account for the long waiting room time -- which is fine by me.) She is respectful of your opinions and feelings, and after a complete explanation of a procedure, vaccination or medical procedure, will not "force" anything on you. (e.g. HPV vaccine). She is also the only doctor I know who has "phone time." Every week she sets aside specific time during which you can call and speak with her directly. Try THAT at any other practice! She does not have fancy electronics in the waiting room, but she is "linked" into the internet so that you can access your medical information whenever you need it -- and even schedule (or reschedule) appointments. They do not waste money on paper towels and such, but use clean reusable cotton sheets and towels that are washed right on the premises. If you're tired of the impersonal, male-dominated, insurance-company driven medical system, you must give Dr. Jeffries a try. I love her!!
