I love this place! 10/28/2011

Dr. Jeffries and her staff have always gone out of their way to make sure my needs were taken care of. The Dr. and her staff are available by email, phone, or in person and are willing to assist in any way they can. I have been going to this office for the past ten years and I have been very happy with the care I have received. The office has been clean every time I've been there. Dr. Jeffries is always professional, yet very personable and friendly. Thanks for keeping me healthy! more

Dana Healey 1/6/2011

I just read some of Dr Jeffries negative reviews, and I really don't understand them, I don't even remember when I started going to Jennifer, she was in Bedford at the time, not on Cilly Rd. Take it from me, a long time. Her waiting room is a bit dark. and the furnature is not modern swank, but I have never found the waiting room or the Examination Rooms dirty at all. She is Kind, Intellagent, and I think of her and her staff as friends instead of Doctor and staff. Honestly I have and will continue to put My Life, as well as my Wife's and my Son's in her hands. As far as someone who bases such a strong opinion on a first visit, a long wait (or weight as one put it), shame on you Dana more

Good Old-Fashioned doctoring 6/14/2010

Dr. Jeffries practice is like the "good old days." She has been my PCP since she opened her doors years ago. Sometimes the wait is long, but once you're in with the Dr. (or one of the P.A.'s), she takes as much time as you need -- allowing the opportunity to ask questions -- and giving full, detailed answers. (which could account for the long waiting room time -- which is fine by me.) She is respectful of your opinions and feelings, and after a complete explanation of a procedure, vaccination or medical procedure, will not "force" anything on you. (e.g. HPV vaccine). She is also the only doctor I know who has "phone time." Every week she sets aside specific time during which you can call and speak with her directly. Try THAT at any other practice! She does not have fancy electronics in the waiting room, but she is "linked" into the internet so that you can access your medical information whenever you need it -- and even schedule (or reschedule) appointments. They do not waste money on paper towels and such, but use clean reusable cotton sheets and towels that are washed right on the premises. If you're tired of the impersonal, male-dominated, insurance-company driven medical system, you must give Dr. Jeffries a try. I love her!! more

should be shut down 3/11/2010

Someone should call on this place and it should be shut down. They should not be serving people. It is VERY dirty and the doctor didnt appear to know what she was doing and the visit took forever. I was there for 2 in a half hours more

I don't think any offfice could ever be like this 3/11/2010

The office was bad. The furniture was nasty! The doctor was not to smart. Thw weight was stupid. I waited 3 hours.. 3 HOURS!!! Not a good place. Never will I return there more

Not a place I would ever go back to 3/11/2010

I never seen such a bad doctor's office. Dr Jeffries takes hours before she actully see's you. Then she doesn't appear to know much about medicine or being a doctor because she didn't make much sence of what she was saying. Her Office, The rooms all were VERY dirty and not very inviting!! Just walk in and take a look around before you subject yourself to this place.. more

Not impressed at all 3/11/2010

Good: There was nothing I liked.. Bad: I went in and was in waiting room for about 30 mins which was gross, dirty.. People were not friendly. When I first got in the room it was like being interagated not asking normal medical things. The room was so dirty and old. The doctor took almost 2 hours to finnaly come in. She didnt even seem like she knew what she was doing. She was not prof.. It was Thee worst experiance I have ever had and I would not ever return there. I would not bring my dog there.. Improvements: New Doctors New Staff New Office It cleaned Updated equiment I could be here all day. Other: I do not recommend anyone to go here... It is not good medical care and if you love yourself or a family memeber you would not allow anyone to go there.... more

Finally, a place to be taken care of without judgement 5/12/2009

I love this place. Everyone who works here is competent and caring. Every other practice I've been to barely listened to me and I could tell they judged me greatly for who I am. At Jeffries Family Medicine I finally found a place that was open and educational. They spoke to me as a person and when I shared that I hadn't done a procedure before and was nervous, one of the nurses walked me through the whole thing and asked me how I was doing. The waiting room is modest and nice. The bookshelf is a great resource for any questions you may have or any curiosities that may drive you to flip through a chapter. There are toys and kids books to keep young people entertained. It is obvious that this practice isn't making bank- there are no flat screen plasma tvs showing the same recording of the ocean for 10 hours non stop- however, this makes me more comfortable. It is obvious that the money being spent is used on resources for practitioners and patients. Educational pamphlets, hands on dioramas and the like for the exam rooms are way more important than a plastic bubbling water fountain. All of the assistants are very skilled and fantastic, however if you want to meet with Dr. Jefferies in particular, make sure you either call between 8 and 9ish, or tell the assistant that you want to see her specifically. Honesty is key here as well. You have to be honest, straightforward and a great advocate for your health and they will give you all the honesty and help you ask for back. I highly recommend this place. more

Not somewhere I want to return to 3/28/2006

I had an uncomfortable experience here. I had just moved here and knew no one and had to pick a Primary Care Physician for my husband's health insurance when I picked Dr. Jeffries. I had my first appointment with them recently, and I wasn't very impressed. First of all, I didn't even see the doctor at all because it was an evening appointment and she wasn't in. The wait was long in a waiting room that wasn't very inviting, and nobody even came to say that they'll be right with me even though they saw me. Once I was seen, I was pretty much interviewed instead of filling out a medical questionnaire, which was uncomfortable. Overall, the appointment was pointless since I just had a physical through work for my employment, but I needed it for insurance reasons with this Dr. I think I might find another PCP. more
