East Detroit Bakery on Nine Mile in Eastpointe has been around forever. They have a great selection of doughnuts and pastries and make cakes as well. You can also pick up things like Better Maid chips and Faygo here. But hands down, the best thing here is the packzi. You must try one, especially on packzi day (Fat Tuesday). Make sure you go early while they are nice and fresh and be prepared to wait in line, but they are well worth the wait. Everyone that works in here is nice and friendly and everything tastes so great!
