Review content:
The Cedar Rapids Ice Arena (CRIA) opened January 8, 2000. The facility was built with public and private dollars and is owned by the City of Cedar Rapids. CRIA hosts two sheets of ice, a pro shop, party rooms and video games. The NHL rink is home to the USHL's Cedar Rapids Roughriders. The ice arena is a great addition to the community and is well used. There are a great many budding figure skaters who are very glad to not have to make the trip to Iowa City.
