Review content:
Wasabi is a surprise, the atmosphere is surprising for the Toledo area, which is typically a blue collar town. The menu had shockingly high prices for what they were offering. The food was tasty and the portions were HUGE. I would rather they charge 30% less for a plate of 3 rolls, than charge $21 and make 2" thick rolls. My friends could not even put them in their mouths! So much for their first sushi experience. The spicy rolls were boring, lots of heat, but little flavor. The Ribeye steak i tried was full of fat, and over marinated. Mashed potatoes were dry and boring. The other sushi tray I tried was $24, and had a good selection, except for the generic (read CHEAP) shrimp and eel piece. ceviche appetizer at $12 was ok, but very little fish in there. The calimari was done up in a unique way with a tasty sauce, this was everyones favorite. Service was great.
Pros: Good food, good service
Cons: way overpriced, rolls are bland, limited options
