(Rated 1-star - only because the system forced me to. Personally this hospital doesn't deserve anyting!
I am a 43 year old single parent who has honorably served my country for 22 years. Never in my life have I ever experienced such a lack of sympathy from a supposed "professional" medical staff. I was utterly livid when I was finally released after 10 days, that I wrote my Congressman and the BBB informing them of just how awful I was treated.
After seven days of Cy Fair Hospitals educated doctors being unable to identify why I was having pain on my right side, they assumed I was creating the pain in my head. Huh? Finally, they listened to me and checked my appendix to find that there was indeed a problem and it needed to be removed.
During those excrutiating seven days - I was laughed at, ignored and treated so poorly by the nursing staff when I told them that I was in pain - it was like I was living in a horror movie. They never allowed me to bathe, or clean myself up with a wet cloth until my family inquired.
Needless to say, I would never recommend anyone to go to this hospital. There are other hospitals only minutes away and well worth the choice NOT to go here!
