I have never been so dissatisfied with a restaurant that I felt the need to warn others not to be fooled by the high CitySearch star rating and eat there. I had wanted to try this restaurant for months and was appalled by the taste and quality of the food and the lack of cleanliness. The tapas at Sweet Devil Moon were unappetizing: the greens were shriveled, the shrimp had a suspect smell, and the cheese sauce was congealed. On a positive note, the fried plantains were very good and my friend raved about the salmon bruscetta. The service was friendly, but unpredictable; our server was more interested in flirting and dancing with a co-worker than bringing our tapas and drinks. I am not exaggerating when I say that there were rodent excrement and a fruit fly infestation in the bathroom, which I wish I had seen before we ate. I should have known better when there was only one couple there at 7:30 on a Thursday night. Think again and go elsewhere.
