Review content:
Years ago (6-10 years ago) La Monique was fabulous. Then it started to morph into something other than a nice nail salon. An ATM machine arrived, a fish tank arrived, etc. Did this add to my experience there? NO! These objects took away space and added nothing. Also, the manicurists used to speak some English, understood what a client wanted, and seemed to want to learn how to speak more proficiently. No more. They laugh at their jokes (I presume-although a friend of mine decided not to go back because she thought they were laughing at her feet) and speak Vietnamese unceasingly and loudly so that it is hard to relax.
