I hired John to sell my townhouse in Queen Anne, Seattle in April 2010 and I selected John over two other realtors that were personally recommended to me by friends because of the fact that during our first meeting it was obvious that John’s professionalism, extensive knowledge of each of Seattle’s diverse neighborhoods, his thorough review of the comps in (and out of) my neighborhood, his pricing strategy and his background in marketing would help me to best present my home and sell it quickly with as little stress as possible. With John’s help and to my astonishment, my place actually sold within 3 short weeks of being on the market – we got a cash offer at a final price that worked for both parties and a short close which were ideal for my situation.
As a first time seller I was very anxious and had several questions and concerns with the down market, the sale process, pricing, staging, photography, etc. and John walked me through it all with impeccable knowledge, patience and grace. Not only is John smart, but he is also a genuine guy with a great attitude which helped to make the experience of selling a home in a down market much easier than I ever thought it could be! So, for these reasons and more I would not hesitate to recommend John as a realtor to anyone selling a home in Seattle. (I would imagine John would be an excellent buyer’s agent for all these same reasons as well!)
