Review content:
I joined the rush when the gym I was a member of went under. They were very pushy when I went in to use a trial membership, and outright lied about the terms. I was aware that I would be moving out of state soon, but the employee who was signing me up assured me that he could waive the $99 termination fee. Now the time has come, and they have told me that the guy was fired for making promises like that, but that they are unwilling to help me. I also received constant phone calls (one a week) from the company even after I had already joined saying that they had seen I'd been on the website within the last 3 months and wondering if I am still interested in joining. I also received several phone calls asking if I had taken advantage of their free hour of personal training- long after I'd already done so. The company policies are pushy and misleading. The setup of the gym itself is mediocre, and they don't let you go to locations other than the one that you signed up with.
