Review content:
My husband and I used to go to Suchi (now Chef of India) frequently for the buffet. We were always very happy with the service, with the food, and with the price. We would take our friends and family and always leave a 20% tip for our server. We noticed often, though, that the staff was always different and seemed to give the owner or manager a wide berth. Another friend of mine went to the restaurant one day and observed a waitress being yelled at by the owner in full view of the patrons. The waitress was obviously brow-beaten, and when asked by my friend if she gets to keep her tips, she quickly shook her head 'no' and scurried off. I'm sure there are people who think, "if you don't like your job or aren't getting paid enough, get another one", but that's easier said than done. My husband and I, now knowing this, have not and will not be back. It's too bad, too, because the food really was good.
Pros: good buffet
Cons: treatment of waitstaff
