Review content:
It was time to take my Himalayan kitten to get groomed since he was starting to resemble a dust ball. I had gotten the recommendation from my sister to take him to Groomingdales. I made an appointment and dropped my kitty off the next day. About noon I get a call from Groomingdales saying my cat was done, so I told the lady I'd be there in 10-15 minutes (we live about 10 minutes away). I load the kids in the car to pick him up. About 5 minutes later, I get another call from Groomingdales asking if someone was going to be picking up the cat soon because they were closing. I had already told the same woman I'd be there and it had only been 5 minutes! So we get there and my poor kitty was still wet and was shivering and there was still 3 dogs waiting to be picked up! Maybe if she had taken the extra time to dry him, instead of being in a hurry to finish and get him done she would have gotten a better rating and a repeat customer. But instead, she didn't do the greatest job grooming him and I will be looking for a new groomer. She charged me $30 to bath my cat and to shave his stomach area. A little overpriced in my opinion
