Splish Splash is a small water amusement park on Long Island - located in Riverhead on the east end of Suffolk County. It is small, but there's plenty to do to keep the children entertained for hours on end. Lots of water rides - slides, tubes, waves pools, sprinklers, etc, etc, etc. There's the lazy river for those that maybe don't want the "excitemen" of the other rides. It's definitely THE place to cool off on a hot humid day. I don't think the park is good for very young children - toddlers. I'd say it's good for older children who know how to swim and swim well. The younger children, however, may enjoy the wading pools and the sprinklers. Admission is approximately $30 for an adult ticket. I'm not sure if they offer children's ticket discounts.
