Splish Splash

This park has over 25 slides and water rides to choose from. The park is built in a 100 acre wooded lot. It is big enough for everyone to have their own space even when it is crowded. There are usually long waits for the more popular rides, but the paces are such that the lines keep moving. For the non-adventurous, there is a lazy river to float around in.They do have a couple of entertainment shows. So before you go to Six Flags, give this place a try. more

Splish Splash, located on Route 25, Middle Country Rd. in Riverhead, is visible from the Long Island Expressway. This water park is regarded highly by Long Islanders. The biggest attractions include the Cliff Diver (which is the ride visible from the LIE), and the Abyss. Instead of going to the overrated Six Flags Hurricane Harbor all the way in New Jersey, you have a better choice at the end of the LIE. more

As water parks go Splish Splash has the requisite attractions as all the other ones but is a lot closer. They do not allow you to bring anything (even bottled water) in the park with you so that they can over charge you for everything, including the minuscule lockers. That said the Lazy River, numerous water slides and thrill seeker rides are sure to please. Monsoon Lagoon was also very popular. more

Splish Splash is an incredible water park that has something for everyone. The park has an enclosed section for small children, which is sure to please them for the entire day. For a more middle aged child, there are regular water slides, as well as slides where you ride a tube. If you don't know how to swim, just tell the guard up at the top of the slide, and the guard will alert the lifeguard at the bottom so that he/she can catch you right before you enter the water. The park also hosts an impressive outdoor food court with a wide selection of food. New rides are added yearly to keep the park from becoming repetitive. This location is the best place to spend a hot summer day. more

Splish Splash is a blast if you go on the right day. They have tons of water rides, tube rides, body slides, and attractions involving water. This is Long Islands biggest & best water park, and the best water park i have ever been to. If you go on a really hot day it is even better. Just be sure to use a lot of waterproof sunscreen. It is moderatley expensive but well worth the money if you have never gone. more

Splish Splash is a great place to get wet on a hot day. Splish Splash is one of the largest water parks in the tri-state area, really only smaller than Mountain Creek & Hurricane Harbor in NJ. But what it misses in size, it makes up for in fun. The whole place is just always hopping, and it has its own unique feeling that sets it apart from most other waterparks in the area. more

Splish Splash is a small water amusement park on Long Island - located in Riverhead on the east end of Suffolk County. It is small, but there's plenty to do to keep the children entertained for hours on end. Lots of water rides - slides, tubes, waves pools, sprinklers, etc, etc, etc. There's the lazy river for those that maybe don't want the "excitemen" of the other rides. It's definitely THE place to cool off on a hot humid day. I don't think the park is good for very young children - toddlers. I'd say it's good for older children who know how to swim and swim well. The younger children, however, may enjoy the wading pools and the sprinklers. Admission is approximately $30 for an adult ticket. I'm not sure if they offer children's ticket discounts. more

Splish splash is pretty much at the end of LIE and it'll probablly take a hour and a half from Queens area. It's a little far, but kids have the best times there. We took a trip there with church kids and they absolutely loved it. It's the best place to cool down during this hot summer if you're in the vicinity. This is a great water park for the whole family. more

Splish Splash is Long Island's favorite waterpark, which has been featured several times on the Travel Channel's top 10 waterparks. It is far out on the island, but worth the trip. The park boasts many thrilling rides, as well as some relaxing ones (the lazy river is a blast). Admission is on the pricey side, as is the food, but you can find discounts at local chain restaurants. Lockers are plentiful to lock up your stuff, and I'd recommend a plastic money holder to bring around the park. The park has shows everyday that are very entertaining. The family tube ride is the best, definitely a must-do! Splish Splash is definitely a fun, all day activity. If there's time at the end of the day, check out across the street--the enormous Tanger Malls is just feet away! more

This is an amazing place to take the kids for the day! Admission is decently priced considering how great this park is! They have all brand new facilities and rides and great food. The park is pretty big and offers great thrill rides as well as a couple of rides for young kids and some rides for adults (the lazy river). On a nice sunny day you can never go wrong here, this place could be the best amusement park on Long Island. Their rides include a large wave pool and an eighty foot drop water slide! If you don't go here then you don't know what you're missing! more

splish splash is wonderful for a family day trip. they have lotsof fun water slides and shows. it is wonderful how all of the amusements are just built into the land and you can enjoy the shade underneath all of the trees from nature. Newsday and wendys restaurants offer discounted coupons for the park.. You have to get there early in order to beat the line to the slides. Any other time, I recommend the lazy river which lets you relax in a cooling pool of water as you go floating around the waterway more

If you live in Long Island and are looking for a nice place to bring the family, Splish Splash is it. I usually take the trip to Riverhead 3 or 4 times during the summer to do shopping at the outlets and also to go to Splish Splash with my nieces and nephews. My family and I go to the Splish splash Water park in Riverhead at least 2 to 3 times each summer. The kids have a blast and w always seem to stay all day. Whether its riding on the lazy river, or playing in the wave pool or prehaps taking a plunge in one of there many water slides the splish splash water park has many great things for each person in any family to try out. Personally you could leave me on the lazy river all day while my son likes to play at Pirates Cove, while my husband and oldest son love to ride the big water slides. Food prices are pretty good there. they are comparable to any amusement park on the east coast. You can bring a picnic lunch and eat in the picnic area. If you want to save money thats what you do. If you dont care about funds and just want to have an easy day out , buy a sandwich or slice of pizza relax and then go ride my water rides. No matter what have fun try out Splish Splash today. more

Splish and Splash is one of our Favorite Water Parks. One great thing is that is close to home. My daughter loves Splish & Splash! They have great water rides. You can have so much fun there and enjoy your day. And now you can have private parties. You can now host Birthday Parties up to 50 people. You can always find coupons on the Newsday Newspaper. I believe the coupons are for $3 off general Admission. I will be taking my daughter there for her 10th Birthday Party this summer. I can't wait to see her reaction. I highly recommend Splish & Splash. It's a place for the entire family. more
