Good: I liked that the facility was convenient for getting a colonoscopy. It was clean and neat in the office and the facility was nice.. Bad: 1) Front desk girl- Mexican/Spanish girl with long hair that is wavy. Every time I go in that office she has attitude with me. Im just a sick patient who wants to make sure billing is done right. She messed up on billing she told me by copay was over 4000 dollars! I think Ive researched my insurance well enough to know that is not right. Second time she wanted to charge me a copay for the visit when there is no copay!
2)Doc spends 5-10 minutes with me. I dont feel like a patient- I feel like a number.. Improvements: 1)I want an apology from that front desk girl. When I told her the copay was not right she said to me "Im not going to sit here and argue with you. If you dont want to pay it thats fine but if it ends up that you need to pay we will bill you". How is that providing good service?
2)Doc told me all the care I have recieved prior to seeing him was all useless and suggestions about my diet are all bogus. I asked him the mechanism of the drug he was precribing me and he told me to look it up online.. Other: I had high hopes for this doctor. My mom respects him a lot and I have no doubt he will help me but to be honest as a patient, a human being I dont feel like I was treated well. It is not hard to have a little compassion for patients, especially when they are sick. It is not hard to spend more than 5 minutes with them and answer questions.
Additionally- the girl at the front desk needs to change her attitude...being rude and unhappy towards people wont get her very far in life.....
