They came out to diagnose my dishwasher probelm and told me it wouldn't drain because I needed a new drain pump. They said it would be $367: $150 for the installation of the part and $167 for the part, plus the $40 I paid for the diagnosis. The part I needed I found on the Internet, appliancezone dot com for $32.00. So, Famous Appliance was marking this up 500%! I ordered the part, had a friend install it and the dishwasher still didn't drain. I checked the drain hose and it was clogged. Why did Famous Appliance not check this first? The simplest solution? Because they wanted to charge me for a drain pump and a drain hose and probably another trip to my house. This company is crooked and I would never recommend them!!!
