Get this. I just found out that this place fired one of the nursing managers because she didn’t fire her people when they went to management with a written grievance regarding a nurse with a disruptive attitude. Apparently this nurse manager stood her ground and would not be forced by upper management to bring the disruptive nurse back to the unit. So to punish the staff, upper management lets their nurse manager go and tells everyone it was “mutually agreed upon”. What a gross suppression of people’s rights to voice their opinion and concerns in regards to maintaining a safe and happy working environment. Maybe it’s time for someone in the news media to get involved and see what this place is doing to it’s employees. Pros: none Cons: poor management decisions
