It is very hard to find a good stylist for Black hair on the mid-Peninsula where you don't also have to invest 1/2 entire day to get a great job done or end up running hours late. With my current lifestyle/work schedule, I simply don't have that time any more. So, I am blessed to have found Carrie at Hair International. She has done a very great job with a difficult head of hair, and a persnickety client (me) who until forced to change due to time problems had her hair done by the same woman for the preceding 25 years. Carrie is always funny, engaged, listens well but also tells it straight when it comes to what will, or will not, work best with my hair. She's done my color and cut perfectly for years and is also excellent at working with *natural* (ie non-permed/relaxed hair) hair such as mine. And even with complicated work like twists I'm out in 2 hours, max. So, if you're a Black woman, or any woman with hair like ours, definitely check her out!
