Initially, when I saw Dr. Rackoff several years ago, I thought she was rushed, indeferent and somewhat condicending. When prompted with questions, she seemed annoyed and at one time told me to "look it up". After several months of unresponsive treatment, I went to a few other doctors, one of whom recommened Embrel. I suggested this to her, and we began treatment. This was the only thing that worked. I continuted to see her over the last few years, and last week, she seemed much warmer, concerned and interested. She wanted me to get a test which my GP for an seemingly unrelated ailement that stymied my GP, and followed up with a Sunday call to me. She also spoke to me on the phone and suggested another specialist--again, something that did not occur to my GP. I guess what I'm saying is that I found her initially rude but that she's improved over the last few years, for what ever reason, and I think really knows her stuff. At this point, I'd recommend her. Thanks, S
