Review content:
I very quickly went in here for some coffee when I was studying like a crazy woman for my addictions final (funny how I choose caffeine). Although I love non-chain cafes with a homely feel, I didn't appreciate how the place smelled like 'old' and all the furniture was pretty tatty and tacky. I'm sure at night once they light the place up with Christmas lights and it is too dim to see the stains on the couches, it would be a good place to chill, however, not for me. I got a caramel latte which was pretty good. The standard size was at least 16 ozs which made me happy. I think it could have been sweeter or had a little more syrup, but that is because I am addicted to sugar, so I think in reality it is probably the perfect amount. I would want to go there again to try some of their interesting drinks such as Thai Tea made with condensed milk, but another day when I don't need an insane caffeine fix. It's a nice idea, but yikes, they need some money to do that place up a little bit.
