Review content:
What a great place for a hike anytime of the day or no matter the season. Early morning and later afternoon works best for spotting the birds (or just listening to their wonderful conversations), but anytime of day Cumming has several trails of different lengths and difficulty for hiking and enjoying the beauty and wildlife of the Nature Center. There's also a lodge with great information on the wildlife you can see and suggested maps and trails for best viewing. There's picnic tables and areas so pack a lunch (or your favorite wine and some snacks) and plan to spend the day. There are guided tours and birdwatching available. Cumming Nature Center is definitely a great Finger Lakes hiking trail for family fun--no matter the season--because there's cross-country skiing and snowshoeing available during the winter as well.
