I don't understand all of the negative reviews. I recently ate at Puerto Vallarta. I've been procrastinating and passing by the restaurant for over a year since I've moved here and finally decided to go in and try their food. I was pleasantly surprised at the food. It's very good. The service is excellent. Seating was prompt, our server was fast, drinks and chips & salsa were always filled. I have never had any complaints. Although the food is not the greatest or best Mexican food I've ever had (I've had the best at local hole in the walls and shacks), but its quite authentic and very delicious! I've enjoyed the food here so much so that I've made Puerto Vallarta my one and only restaurant I have to dine in every Friday. You should really try it. I find their food is much better than a lot of the other Mexican chain restaurants out there. Definitely try it and you won't be disappointed!
