ate at Puerto Vallarta, Port Orchard recently. haven't gotten that sick since my bout with dysentery years ago.... absolutely horrible - from that experience i will never eat at ANY Mexican restaurant again... i rate the food quality as a 0-1 star more

Puerto Vallarta itself is a good restauraunt. Each location varies. One outside of Kingston and the one being rated in Port Orchard. I think the Kingston location is better than Port Orchard. PO service and food varies from afternoon to evening. I've had varying success in the afternoon-long waits to be served & long wait to receive food. Not good when on an hour lunch. Sometimes the amount of food given was small in comparison to other visits. Food always good. more

Puerto Vallarta is one of the most over rated Mexican Restaurants in the area. The food has always been so so. for the price El Sombrero ao the trip to Azteca is better. more

I don't understand all of the negative reviews. I recently ate at Puerto Vallarta. I've been procrastinating and passing by the restaurant for over a year since I've moved here and finally decided to go in and try their food. I was pleasantly surprised at the food. It's very good. The service is excellent. Seating was prompt, our server was fast, drinks and chips & salsa were always filled. I have never had any complaints. Although the food is not the greatest or best Mexican food I've ever had (I've had the best at local hole in the walls and shacks), but its quite authentic and very delicious! I've enjoyed the food here so much so that I've made Puerto Vallarta my one and only restaurant I have to dine in every Friday. You should really try it. I find their food is much better than a lot of the other Mexican chain restaurants out there. Definitely try it and you won't be disappointed! more

I am sorry to see that Marie didn't enjoy Puerto Vallarta though I will admit that the food can be a bit variable. However, let me suggest the fajitas and that you go after 5pm when they start making the homemade tortillas. You can't go wrong. more

Puerta Vallarta tops my list of favorite mexican restaurants. Service has always been friendly and fast. The chips and salsa are flowing and the drinks are nice and cold. I've found the food to be outstanding. Although the dining area is a bit loud - that's okay. It works well if you have kids. I highly reccomend this restaurant. more

My family and I regularly go to Puerto Vallarta and we always receive the best service. Our drinks are always full, the chips and salsa are flowing, and the service is polite and quick. The food isn't the best that I have ever had, but it is very good, especially the carne asada. The dining room does tend to be a bit loud, but that works great with small children. On Sunday's they have a brunch buffet. more

As far as Mexican style restaurants go, the outside appearance is very appealing. There is ample parking. However, I have yet to find their food worthy of what is charged. The menus look nice and offer variety, the interior atmosphere is inviting (but sometimes loud), and they have meeting rooms available. All this still doesn't make up for their food that has not impressed me. Plus, the service has appeared rather flippant and did not leave a good impression on me. You may have a better experience with them. more
