I called Gillece because of their promise of same day service and their cheap rates offered for sewage cleaning as my sewer was backed up after the holidays. Little did I know when I called them that these were just scams to get their foot in the door. When I had called I found out that I hadn't qualified for their same day service offer as many restrictions applied even though I called before noon, but agreed to having them come out the day after. They had a horrid "Travel Charge" of 65.00 (where later I found out from a friend that other plumbers in the area have a travel fee of half the price), and then they shoved only so much cable down my drain before I the technician told me that the drain was still clogged and it would take a little while to unclog. Little did I know that in the fine print it stated that the price of the drain cleaning would increase DRASTICALLY after a certain amount of feet of cable had been used and the longer the plumber sat around my house. I was shocked when I got the bill!! It was outrageous! The amount that I was charged for this job was compounded by having to run cable to the main and the fact that the plumber sat around half the day, increasing his fee!! For all I know these guys run on commission and I paid the guys week-long pay. I will NEVER use Gillece Plumbing ever again and will tell everyone not to! When googling Gillece Plumbing, google automatically suggested the word SCAM after his name and thats what this business is!
