Review content:
I have been with temp services on and off over my 30 year working history and Appleone rates as one of the better agencies I have used.
My job history has included many many jobs,
some of which Temp agencies have given me; from Sheet Metal Union (retired member now) to Printing companies- Accounts Payables like Thayer in Bvt., (got a letter of recommendation in 1987 there, if I recall).
So, my latest ordeal was when my PT, Call center marketing job went back east in August. I signed up with Oregon Employment Division and then started the Internet search process, resume upgrade, and general application process. I went into 2 other temp agencies and completed an intake with Goodwill Job Search down on MLK. Appleone must have called me within about 3 days of registering with them. Their internet site boasts of 4 1/2 stars out of 5 and that is absolutely true.
In my experience, the only time you could possibly go wrong with a Temp Agency is when you stray outside their guidlines, misinterpret their demands, or view outcomes negatively and fail to put a positive future outlook on your work.
I panicked when I failed to properly send in my timecard (with Appleone on my first week) on the Internet and fired off a too concerned letter to the supervisors, only to find my paycheck at my front door when I got home.
OK, so I jumped the gun in order to be on top, (I dislike being on the bottom of things anyway.)
So, what has Appleone done wrong?
NOTHING has gone wrong! If something is going to go wrong in the future it will only be because of a communication thing... whatever that might be... and that can be straightened out no matter what.
I am happily on my 3rd assignment with Appleone, and am very proud to be an employee for Appleone and their chosen client.
I don't get up in the morning thinking how tough it is to take on a bunch of various assignments, because I know I can do it and that I am qualified for the job or they would not have put me on it.
I have access to a Health Insurance Policy if I want it. The assignments have all paid what the economy can bare.... which has been far above minimum wage.
The people are great and work hard and try to help. The communication lines are open. They are fair and just...we are all trying to do the best we can. What more can I say other than you owe it to yourself to sign up with the temps and start looking on the bright side of things!
Sincerely,
Satisfied worker
Pros: Need a job?
Cons: I can't speak against this.
