Businiess name:  The Peoples Pub
Review by:  Gabe O.
Review content:
Disclaimer: The Peoples Pub was opened by a former roommate of mine. The Peoples Pub was my first experience with real German food. I was pretty sure I wouldn't like it, but boy was I wrong. Jon, the owner, took the former head chef to Germany before opening the bar so that he could experience the food as it was meant to be done, and come up with a good selection for the pub. It worked. They also have a great selection of German beers, which are quite good. The menu recommends a beer for each meal. The sad thing is that two of my favorite items are no longer regular items on the menu, but do occasionally show up as specials - the bacon wrapped jalapeños, and the rouladen. The bartenders are great as well. If you're walking by on the street it can look empty because of the layout, but head to the back and you will generally find a good crowd in the bar area.
