Of course Plato's Closet is going to sell the clothes for more than they paid you for them. It's a business, meant to make money. How else are they going to pay their rent/pay employees/make a profit? That's how consignment works... I love Plato's Closet...I could give my clothes away or throw them out, but first I bring them to PC to get a little extra cash before donating the rest to Salvation Army, etc. Why not? You're not using them anyway. It's a great way to get rid of some old clothes and make a little extra spending money in the process. I will definitely continue selling old clothes to PC.
