I have been to the resale rack and have had the same kind of experience mentioned in other reviews. They were NOT friendly - rejected most of my (really nice) merchandise - and offered me pennies on the dollar for the items they would take. I walked away without giving them anything I was so annoyed! What a waste of time!
I recently heard about an upcoming Semi-Annual Kids Consignment Event which will happen every Spring and Fall in the Burlington Center Mall in Burlington Twp NJ. ( called BEST DRESSED FOR LESS). The next sale will happen October 10th-12th but consignor registration is open now.
Semi-Annual Kids Consignment Sales are GREAT because if you consign your kids stuff YOU choose the price - and if it doesn't sell at the sales end you take your just merchandise back.- or donate it to charity. Because they are NOT a consignment store they don't have the constant overhead expense of a year round store and can give consignors up to 80% of their sales. (if you volunteer to work the sale).
It is REALLY worth checking out!
