If you're in North County and don't feel like running to one of the big chain stores, then Biener is a great alternative.
They're reasonably priced, have very helpful people working for them and have the basic hardware items that you'll need.
They can cut a pane of glass or mirror immediately, help you find just the perfect shade of paint and won't laugh at you if you don't know the technical name for a certain type of screw.
Biener is the perfect place to go when you need friendly service and good prices.
