Review content:
I bought a pair of running sneakers and was "gauranteed" I would love them. I am training or a marathon a few weeks away. I ran one mile in the new sneakers and felt two blisters forming. I brought them back the next day only to be told by Steve, the Owner, that they would not give me my money back. I explained that the sneakers gave me blisters and I can't wear them. Similar to the person above that had a incident with him, he LOST IT and BLEW UP at me--he asked me how old I was (I'm 30-not that that matters), called me a bitch in the store, told me to get out and ridiculed me. He did everything but slap me in the face. I went home and came back with my boyfriend, an attorney. When we walked in, Steve, who was with a customer, started a confrontation with my boyfriend, laughed in his face and tore up his business card. He was and is beyond an a-hole. Further, when we both said we would no longer buy sneakers from him, he ranted and raved about how "he'll be just fine" and "oh, it will really hurt my business." I went to this place because it was local and I thought I would get better service. WRONG. All I got was an arrogant, rude, jerk of an owner who thinks he knows it all beause he sells shoes. Do yourselves a favor, buy from someplace else where they won't put you down and refuse to give your money back when their shoes stink!!
