Review content:
I have gone to this place primarily to eat at the restaurant for a couple of years. I notice that the people employed in the restaurant change regularly. When I first went there the food was "OK"--but the low price was great! About a year later a completely different restaurant "regime" came along. The prices were the same--but the food became terrific. Some of my friends found it a bit spicy--but I thought it was just wonderful. Sadly, there's already a new regime. The food is at an "all time" low ebb. Even at the price, I probably won't go back for about a year. Maybe by then a new restaurant regime will be in place. I hope it's better than the current one!
[ I should perhaps mention that I'm a "westerner" (I grew up in Iowa) who spent a couple of years in India. (I graduated from Woodstock high school near Landour/Mussoorie, Uttaranchal, India.) I do eat slowly and really enjoy quality Indian food. The current Subzi Mandi "restaurant regime" just doesn't cut it for me. 8/27/07 ]
