Review content:
generally i have enjoyed going into kid to kid to buy things for my son, their prices are reasonable and its great when you are on a budget. however my husband and i went into the SLC store on 21st south yesterday to sell my sons "gently used" fall clothing and was utterly appalled by how we were treated by 2 of the stores employees. from the get-go, they acted "uppity" like they were better than we were. to begin with, they were very loudly complaining about how this was the longest day and they didn't want to be there (this was only at 2pm), which as a customer i found very bothersome. then, as they sorted though our clothing, they kept making and repeating rude comments like "if i wanted to buy something like THIS, I'd go to wal-mart!" as if our clothing was not "good enough" for them. for a business that relies very heavily upon recycled clothing, i would have expected the employees to at least treat us like human beings and not to have been so full of themselves. and then to finish the experience, after accepting some of our clothing, they handed us back a bag which the woman snottily referred to as "No Thank-You's." it really all in all was a rather unpleasant experience, and neither my husband nor i will ever return to the store after being treated like that.
