Businiess name:  Vashon Island Ranch Hostel
Review by:  Tara M.
Review content:
I rented the ranch for my wedding. it's a long story. the wedding was great but the staff wasn't really on top of things and never gave us a list of cleaning we were supposed to do before checkout and there was confusion from different staff members. In the end it wasn't clean enough for them. we tried to talk to the woman in charge to help finish the cleaning and take care of everything. But she was hysterical, yelling at me like I was a misbehaving child. She wouldn't stop yelling even after I tried to calm her down and directly asked her to stop because I was going to cry. She kept yelling and told me I should cry. I left the ranch sobbing and dragging a garbage bag full of my wedding linens, my dress, my wedding gifts . . . it was awful. My husband and I stood by the side of the road crying and waiting for someone to give us a ride to the ferry. This cleaning/communication issue might not be a problem for most tourists but the real problem is the lack of care for customers. I'm sure that the same woman would treat weekend visitors and backpackers with the same disrespect. I just hope that others can avoid this negative experience.
