Very rude and condescending staff. I would not waste money on people like this. more

I rented the ranch for my wedding. it's a long story. the wedding was great but the staff wasn't really on top of things and never gave us a list of cleaning we were supposed to do before checkout and there was confusion from different staff members. In the end it wasn't clean enough for them. we tried to talk to the woman in charge to help finish the cleaning and take care of everything. But she was hysterical, yelling at me like I was a misbehaving child. She wouldn't stop yelling even after I tried to calm her down and directly asked her to stop because I was going to cry. She kept yelling and told me I should cry. I left the ranch sobbing and dragging a garbage bag full of my wedding linens, my dress, my wedding gifts . . . it was awful. My husband and I stood by the side of the road crying and waiting for someone to give us a ride to the ferry. This cleaning/communication issue might not be a problem for most tourists but the real problem is the lack of care for customers. I'm sure that the same woman would treat weekend visitors and backpackers with the same disrespect. I just hope that others can avoid this negative experience. more

This is the coolest place to stay at. During warmer months (tourist season) there are teepees, a covered wagon, and a log cabin for lodging. The log cabin is available year-round. The log cabin has private rooms and dorm style rooms (bunk beds). The kitchen area is huge. This hostel also offers a free pancake breakfast. There's so many more amenities to mention - but only so much room here. Bicycle rentals, etc. Starting at under $20 for a night's lodging, how can this be beat?! This place is a must see and do! more

This hostel is too cool. Year round, there is the usage of a log cabin with either private rooms or dorm style rooms and a community kitchen and meeting room. In warmer weather, one can sleep in teepees or covered wagons surrounding a campfire. Free pancake breakfasts, free bicycle usage, and equipment storage offered. Great place to stay at while exploring Vashon Island. Prices are unbeatable for Vashon lodging. more
