Review content:
I'd read some really great reviews of the original Babe's and was happy to have one opening near me.
I don't get it.
The first time I went I got fried chicken and was underwhelmed. It was overcooked and the sides weren't anything spectacular. I like the biscuits, but I generally like all biscuits. Another time I got chicken strips and they were better than the fried chicken but I'm not paying $8-$9 for chicken strips and generic sides.
Also, the singing waitresses is annoying and hokey.
I am however fascinated by the jugs of sorghum available for purchase when you pay your bill. I never finish my honey bear, so I can't imagine needing that much sorghum for anything.
