Review content:
Saturday May 26 2007 my wife went in to Green Tangerine Spa in South Windsor Ct to get her hair cut. Her appointment was for 11am. The girl cutting her hair was Marcia, my wife showed Marcia a picture in one of the books and told her, she would like her hair to look like the girl in the picture. Marcia said this looking at my wife's hair that it would be no problem. During the cut Marcia first cut her bangs my wife says she had never had a stylist start with her bangs, Marcia started to dry my wife's hair and then used a flat iron on her hair, my wife told her that her hair was not dry Marcia responded with "oh really" and finished drying her hair. At that time she started to use the flat iron and scissors at the same time. Marcia said "let me show you the back" handed my wife a mirror, My wife told her that it looked nothing like the picture she showed her, at that time they looked at the book again and Marcia told her it's because my wife has so much hair, then asked my wife "where would you like me (Marcia) to cut it, My wife responded with "if I knew how to cut hair I would do it myself" My wife stood up and told her enough damage was done can she talk to a manager and Marcia told her "don't worry I won't charge you for the cut" Marcia went to talk to a manager and after a 5 minute conversation they came to speak with my wife. My wife believes the manager's name to be Sarah. Sarah asked my wife to let them try to fix the problem and that Marcia is a good stylist and she just could not work with my wife. They sent over what Sarah says is the salons best stylist Tanya. Tanya told my wife that she would do the best she could but Marcia had cut her Bangs and lower layer way to short. after Tanya finished we went to the counter and I told my wife that she had hair clippings all over her face, she went over to Tanya and asked her to clean the clippings from her face and Tanya Handed my wife a brush for her to do it herself. We went back to the counter and asked to speak to the manager and they told us she had left & charged us $45 and asked us if we needed an envelope for the stylist's gratuity, we asked why should we pay at all and we were told that the $45 goes toward the cost of cutting my wife's hair and that we received a discount and that they should charge $80 because Tanya is a Master stylist.
We are still waiting for a response from their corporate office (Lords & Lady's)
