I disagree with the previous post. This is a good old fashioned fish fancier store. The owner not only speaks English, but speaks it extremely well. Obviously the previous post is from someone who had never even spoken to the owner and thinks a bigger store means better quality. At any rate, unlike Discount Tropical Fish, which I have been to as well in the same city, West Lake's owner actually breeds the exotic discus and angel fish, different varieties. His fish are all healthy and he's extremely pleasant. I highly recommend anyone serious about fish as pets to come to this wonderful establishment. Prices are fair and if he does not carry the fish or aquarium you are looking for, he will order it for you immediately. I've been coming to this place since I was a little girl with my dad, and you will not find any tropical fish store with such great service and healthy fish anywhere else. There is no smell, there is no puddles of water, everything is neat and the fish are displayed in many small tanks.
