I have lived in Flint since the early 50's, having moved here from the South at that time. Have known about King Arthur's Pasties since my early adulthood, when their only location was down on Third Avenue next to Atwood Stadium. There are none else like them. To me, it is Comfort Food.
I remember that recipe being published, and at one time I clipped a recipe for pasties from the Journal. I'm just hoping they're one and the same. Could you email me, so that I can confirm that it is?
