I recently vacationed in St. Augustine and this restaurant was recommeneded by the manager at the hotel's front desk. I'd definitely trust her judgment in the future! The previous review got the decor right on. We ate inside, so we didn't have any problems with the cats. I really only saw one when we walked in, and he was hidden in the marsh, so maybe they've cleaned up a bit since the last reviewer visited. The food was really good. We had a variety from the cheese bread to gator tail to bbq ribs and chicken and fried shrimp. No complaints here!! No room for dessert, too full. But next visit! Wait staff was average. Our waiter was a little forgetful, but otherwise he was ok.
