We used Blue Sound Construction for a major remodel in 2008, and were very pleased. Ben and his team helped us evaluate and price several major scope alternates – both before commencement and throughout the delivery process. Through very positive interaction, we were able to achieve a much broader scope in a very cost effective manner. The project ultimately involved relocation/expansion of the kitchen, expansion of a bedroom, new windows throughout the house, refinished hardwood floors, a skylight, new paint throughout, one fully refinished bathroom, a new deck, and the creation of a great room (by creating arched openings between kitchen, dining, and living rooms). Despite the expanding scope, we were afforded absolute clarity on the project costs - a rarity in residential construction, I believe. Along the way, Ben and his team (including his very design-savvy wife and business partner, Courtney) brought great design input that really helped make this project exceptional.
When people ask about Blue Sound, I am effusive about their efforts. The hallmarks of their work are honesty, collaboration, and craftsmanship, and I would hire them again without hesitation.
