For the money, the studio I have is very spacious with a walk through closet and a little dining/kitchen nook separate from the living area. But the floors and ceilings are EXTREMELY thin, with no concrete between them. I can hear my neighbor below me laugh. I can hear both the doors above and below me slam shut, loudly enough to wake me up. And god help you if your upstairs neighbor doesn't have carpet. There is supposed to be 80% covering with rugs or carpet, but the noise is still a nuisance. I'm out of here as soon as my lease is up to find a place where it doesn't sound like the person above me weighs 500 pounds.
