I was in a one year lease with Bahama Jamaica Apartments and everything was fine, after the lease was up, I was informed that I would be able to stay on at a month to month term and that I would only have to pay an additional fee of $100 a month to do so. The month I planned on moving, I informed the propert manager that I intended to move and she said that was fine as long as I left the property in good condition as I had already informed her of the move. I had only a weekend to move and the office was closed so I left a note and the keys in the drop box. A year after I moved I was sent information from this firm that I had broken a lease and was to pay $1400. I have contacted the company repeatedly, left messages, etc... and never get any live person to speak to on this matter. I now have a public record/judgment on my credit report and have no way of resolving this issue!!!! Thuis company is a scam and so are it's clients!
